The offensive statement that Israel exists only because the United States created it is disrespectful to millions of Americans, many of whom had relatives who perished in the Holocaust.

Israel was established thanks to the blood, sweat, and tears of the Jewish people, in the wake of the greatest tragedy in human history.

And the United States was not always a great friend of Israel in its early and formative years.
