Senior Arab voices are asking: What did Washington actually win?
Saudi journalist Abdulaziz Al-Hameed and Bahraini commentator Ahdeya Ahmed both expressed deep disappointment with President Trumpโs handling of Iran โ and warned that Tehran is already turning survival into propaganda victory.
Their message was blunt:
Iran may lose wars, but it knows how to win narratives.
And for peaceable Arab states, the lesson is becoming impossible to ignore. The missiles threatening the Gulf are not coming from Israel. The drones, proxies, and extortion are not coming from Jerusalem.
They are coming from Tehran.
Which is why both voices point toward the same conclusion: the future of regional security lies not in appeasing Iran, but in partnership with Israel โ the only power in the region both willing and able to confront the threat.

The IDF struck and eliminated seven Hezbollah terrorists who transferred weapons near the Security Zone in southern Lebanon.
The terrorists transferred the weapons into a structure in the El Manzala area that was used as a combat and observation post, and from which the terrorists operated to prepare and carry out military activity to attack IDF soldiers.
The terroristsโ actions at the post alongside the presence of the weapons within it constituted a threat to the soldiers.

Israel, the smallest nation in the Middle East, is surrounded by hostile adversariesโsuch as Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and historically belligerent states like Syria and Egyptโmany of whom openly seek its destruction. Despite these existential threats, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have never lost a war since Israelโs founding in 1948, showcasing unmatched strategic brilliance, technological innovation, and relentless determination.
Remarkable Achievements of the IDF
1. War of Independence (1948-1949): Facing invasion from five Arab armies (Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq) with superior numbers and weaponry, the fledgling IDF secured Israelโs survival. Outmanned and under-equipped, the IDFโs tactical ingenuity and resolve established a sovereign state against overwhelming odds.
2. Six-Day War (1967): In a preemptive strike against an imminent Arab assault, the IDF achieved a decisive victory in just six days. Destroying the air forces of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria in hours and capturing the Sinai Peninsula, West Bank, East Jerusalem, Gaza Strip, and Golan Heights, the IDF reshaped the regionโs geopolitical landscape.
3. Yom Kippur War (1973): Caught off-guard by a coordinated Egyptian-Syrian attack during a sacred holiday, the IDF mounted a rapid recovery. Israeli forces crossed the Suez Canal, encircled Egyptโs Third Army, and advanced toward Damascus, securing a strategic victory despite initial setbacks.
4. Operation Entebbe (1976): In one of historyโs most audacious operations, the IDF rescued 102 hostages held by Palestinian terrorists in Uganda, 2,500 miles away. Elite Sayeret Matkal commandos executed the mission with precision, demonstrating Israelโs global reach and commitment to its citizens.
5. Counterterrorism Operations: The IDF has consistently neutralized threats from groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. Operations like Cast Lead (2008-2009), Protective Edge (2014), and Guardian of the Walls (2021) showcased precision strikes and the Iron Domeโs effectiveness, intercepting thousands of rockets and saving countless lives.
What Makes the IDF Unique
- Technological Superiority: Israelโs defense industry, led by companies like Rafael and Israel Aerospace Industries, produces cutting-edge systems like the Merkava tank, Iron Dome, and Arrow missile defense. The IDFโs integration of AI, cyber warfare, and drones ensures a qualitative edge over adversaries.
- Intelligence Dominance: Supported by Mossad and Unit 8200, the IDF leverages unmatched intelligence to preempt threats, from Iranian nuclear ambitions to Hezbollahโs missile stockpiles.
- Adaptability and Innovation: The IDFโs ability to learn from conflictsโdeveloping Iron Dome to counter rockets or cyber defenses against digital threatsโkeeps it ahead of evolving challenges.
- National Resolve: The IDFโs operations reflect a unified commitment to defend Israel, driven by the necessity of survival in a hostile region.
Strategic Victories and Global Impact
The IDFโs unbroken record of victories has deterred aggression and ensured Israelโs survival against overwhelming odds. Its air force, among the worldโs elite, maintains regional air superiority, while its cyber and intelligence capabilities disrupt enemy plans globally. From countering Iranโs proxies to neutralizing terrorist infrastructure, the IDFโs actions reinforce Israelโs role as a bulwark against regional threats.

Israeli Defense Minister, Yisrael Katz, on the agreement with Lebanon:
This agreement is a historic event and an important political and security achievement for Israel.
Israel has not withdrawn from Lebanon and maintains the security zone including Buq'ata.
Israel will not redeploy in Lebanon or withdraw as long as Hezbollah does not lay down its arms throughout Lebanon and the security of northern residents is not guaranteed.
This is a strategic blow to the axis of the Islamic Republic regime. If the Islamic Republic tries to attack Israel to prevent the implementation of the agreement - we will act strongly against it.

Israel remains in the yellow security zone that keeps us safe. And this is a great achievement โ very great!
Because what did they do? They tried to push us out of there by various means and pressures. Of course, that did not happen.
I thank President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio for their participation and assistance.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Lebanon:
We are breaking the diplomatic axis of the Islamic Republic.
We were able to reach this framework of understandings for a simple reason: because we dealt a heavy blow to Hezbollah.
And Hezbollah, which expected help from Iran, did not receive it.

I want to remind you what was in Lebanon. Hezbollah had 150,000 missiles and rockets. And we destroyed about 90% of this huge arsenal.
We shocked them with beepers, eliminated Nasrallah, killed the commanders of the Redwan force.
In just the past two weeks, we have killed more than 200 terrorists.
