Joint Statement from the Spokesperson of the Israel Defense Forces and the Spokesperson of Shin Bet:

The Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet have neutralized a terrorist who entered Israeli territory on October 7th and was involved in the kidnapping of Israeli citizens and their subsequent captivity.

Two days ago (Wednesday), the Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet launched an operation in the southern Gaza Strip, targeting this terrorist, identified as Khaled Abusalama, and successfully neutralized him. Abusalama previously served as the commander of a group in Khan Younis.

During the events of October 7th, Abusalama entered Israeli territory and played a role in the kidnapping of Israeli citizens, their transfer to the Gaza Strip, and their detention in the southern Gaza Strip.

Prime Minister Netanyahu:

I have decided to add 350 billion shekels to the defense budget over the next ten years. A significant portion of this amount will be allocated to the air force.

As part of this effort, we will also create a large ammunition production industry, utilizing Israeli technology. These weapons will be for our own use and will reduce our dependence on purchasing from abroad.

🇮🇱 The powerful Israeli army conducted an operation to destroy terrorist infrastructure in the town of Al-Taiiri in southern Lebanon.

At a graduation ceremony for pilots, Major General Ayman Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), stated that operations in Iran "are not yet over."

In a planned speech, Zamir was supposed to say that in recent weeks, hundreds of Israeli Air Force aircraft had been on full alert, ready for "immediate deployment," as the military was on high alert for developments throughout the Middle East.

The original text of the speech stated: "Even at this moment, we are closely monitoring developments in Iran and Lebanon, and are on full alert, ready to take immediate action."
