Poll: Israelis want peace with Arabs, reject Palestinian state
A new survey conducted by the Council for a Secure America found that Israelis overwhelmingly seek to expand the Abraham Accords and secure additional normalization deals with Arab states.
Seventy-eight percent said they support reaching a diplomatic agreement with Saudi Arabia; 72% replied the same regarding Lebanon, and 64% regarding Syria.
But Israelis strongly reject the creation of a Palestinian state, with 63% opposed and just 22% in favor.
Furthermore, a 41% plurality of Israelis think Israel should govern the Gaza Strip in the aftermath of Oct. 7.
