During the eighth consecutive night of American strikes, CENTCOM forces successfully targeted Iranian naval military bases, air defense systems, naval capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites to continue degrading Iranian military capabilities. American military assets were also targeted by Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces that launched attacks against United States troops in Jordan on July 17.
More than 50,000 American men and women in uniform are operating across the Middle East. They remain especially vigilant, focused, lethal, and ready."
