Forwarded from Israel Today (Ryan Jones)
Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa hinted that a security agreement with Israel is in the works, and that, were it to succeed, it could lead to normalization with the Jewish state.
Al-Sharaa told Al Jazeera:
โIf the security agreement succeeds, and Israel commits to the security side, and Syria does as well, along with all the conditions of the agreement that may be concluded later, this would qualify for a second stage of talks about a comprehensive peace, without conceding Syriaโs right to the occupied [sic] Golan [Heights].โ

There is a chance for an agreement.
Without what we did, they wouldn't be talking to us.

Trump: If this is true, we will investigate. I will ask Putin about it.
Even if it is true, it probably won't have much of an impact.

President Trump aboard Air Force One:
"A lot of countries would NOT survive without us, and you know who wouldn't survive without us? Israel. Bibi's coming, he'll tell you, if I didn't get involved and if I didn't blow up, those nuclear facilities, essentially, soon to be nuclear weapons, the dust, as I call it, Israel would have been terminated months ago!"
"And years ago if I didn't terminate the Obama-horrible agreement."

Gadi Eisenkot, former Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, on Iran: Regarding Iran, there is one ultimate goal and two other very important goals. The ultimate goal is to remove approximately 440 kilograms of enriched uranium from Iran.
If this is not done, the Iranians could, at their own discretion, move towards nuclear weapons. What does this mean? It means they could decide to increase uranium enrichment from 60% to 90%. This would only require about 250 to 300 centrifuges, operating for approximately three weeks, and they could reach enrichment levels suitable for weapons, shocking the world with the potential for a nuclear explosion.

Reporter: How much patience does [the US] have left for Iran?
Trump: I have plenty of time. Their entire coastline has been destroyed.
The Strait [presumably referring to the Strait of Hormuz] is in very good shape. And we are currently in talks.
You know, they wanted to talk. Their people said, "Please don't bomb us, don't shoot at us."

A sponsor of terror can be direct or indirect. Giving support to a regime that supports terrorists like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood can also be classified as a sponsor of terror indirectly.
Iran in part is sanctioned because of this same reason.
