Israeli Military Spokesperson:
To address an immediate threat, the Israeli military eliminated a commander of a Hamas "elite" unit and a Hamas sniper in the Gaza Strip.
Yesterday (Friday), the Israeli military conducted an operation in northern Gaza, neutralizing Hani Abdelhai Fakhr al-Din Mazloum, commander of one of Hamas's "elite" units, and Hassan Zidan Hassan Diri, a sniper in the military wing of Hamas. Mazloum and Hassan were also involved in trade and supplying weapons to Hamas forces.
