None of the assistance provided to Iran in any way limits our ability to act in order to protect the United States.
However, it is clear that regarding the actions Iran is taking, we are not necessarily fully aligned with Russia's position on this matter.
But Russia, well, and Putin, have their own specific problems that, in my opinion, consume a significant amount of their time and attention, namely the war with Ukraine, and, frankly, the impact that these Ukrainian actions are having on the Russian economy, in addition to the sanctions.
