The Israeli military announced that it had eliminated Muhammad Muhsen Nemer Yazgi, commander of the Hamas Shati battalion, in an airstrike on the city of Gaza. According to the Israeli military, he played a role in holding hostages during the war, including Emily Damari, Roman Gonen, and Matan Engelberg.

Additionally, Muhammad Fawzi Muhammad Awad Jamal, a member of the Hamas Daraj Tufah battalion, was eliminated in another attack in the Sabra area.

The Israeli military claims that these individuals were recently involved in planning attacks against Israeli military forces and civilians, as well as in rebuilding Hamas's capabilities.
