βDPICM (dual-purpose improved conventional munition), the standard submunitions for artillery cluster shells and older cluster bombs, composed of a mix of anti armor shaped charges and anti personnel fragmentation charges.
βCEM (combined effect munitions), that implement highly flammable zirconium rings to give the weapon incendiary effects on top of the aforementioned anti armor and anti personnel ones.
β SFW (sensor fuzed weapons), a class of their own, releasing multiple canisters containing smart submunitions (usually four per canister) that after being dragged by their parachute over the top of the desired area of effect, fire a small rocket under the canister bringing It at a slightly higher altitude, release the submunitions which start spinning at very high velocity and scan the area below through IR or Lidar seekers, lock onto the tracks and then shoot anti tank shaped charges on the top of them. Here's a video showing how a CBU-105 (a guided SFW bomb) works.

πΊπΈπ¨π³ CIA chief William Burns calls China "Washingtonβs greatest strategic threat". While the United States wants to maintain diplomatic dialogues with China, as evidenced by the recent trip of Antony Blinken and Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen to Beijing, they simultaneously use aggressive phrases. President Joe Biden last week called Xi Jinping "a dictator". An approach also followed by China. In the days when Yellen was in the capital, President Xi Jinping inspected Chinese troops in the southern district a few kilometres from Taiwan, repeating the need to modernise the People's Liberation Army.

Tendar: "If it is true that Prigozhin met Putin 5 days after the Wagner rebellion then it would underline Putinβs weakness. Whatever deal has been arranged, it is detrimental to Putinβs rule, which is increasingly becoming a hollow shell, and Iβm getting the feeling that this is exactly the target of all of this. I will try to describe what I think:
I can only speculate, but this whole theater looks like an attempt to gradually undermine and remove Putin without compromising the system as such. I already mentioned numerous times that Prigozhinβs final target is becoming the tsar of Russia. Wagnerβs successful advance on Rostov and later on the other Russian cities was a demonstration of power and it was certain that Prigozhinβs troops would have taken the Red Square. However, even when being militarily successful it would have cost far more Russian blood, causing unpredictable effects even for Prigozhin. It threatened to shatter the very power structure Prigozhin was attempting to take over. In the end both, Putin and Prigozhin, would have lost.
I believe that the truce between those two men is based on this calculus, leaving an unstable and tenuous truce, which both sides reluctantly have had to accept, but it also caused a chain reaction which is unfolding, with Putinβs end as its final target, unless Putin makes an attempt on Prigozhinβs life.
Like I said, I can only speculate but it would fit. Prigozhin and Putin are like two cartel groups fighting for supremacy, but still aware that if they strike too strong that the βFederalesβ move in and end both of their businesses. It is getting interesting"

"Bakhmut, our defenders have been keeping the entrances, exits and movement of the enemy through the city under fire control for several days.
This became possible thanks to the fact that in the process of advancing, our troops took control of the main commanding heights around Bakhmut"

πΊπΈπ·πΊπ²π½ According to the Wall Street Journal, the head of the Security Council of Russia, Nikolai Patrusev, began a spy operation in Mexico. Moscow wants to destroy American democracy and destabilize society by increasing the polarization of Washington. Given the vast border with the United States, Mexico is perfect for gathering information. In particular, in Mexico the staff of the Moscow embassy has increased with new eighty-five members. Mexico, like Cuba, was an important spy territory during the Cold War. Both China and Russia try to threaten the American backyard in Latin America.
