🇷🇺🇺🇦 The pro-Russian telegram “Rybar” reports that’s the today's attack on Sevastopol was carried out by 5 SU-24M of the Ukrainian Air Force which launched ten Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles on the port.

The units of the 31st Division of the Russian Air Force and Air Defense shot down seven targets, five thanks to the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile systems, one thanks to the S-400 system and the seventh missile thanks to the MiG-31. Three cruise missiles was able to reached the target.

🇮🇹 Italy plans to convert two ‘green’ G-550s to EC-37B Compass Call Configuration

🇺🇸Italy is ready to request to the United States government the acquisition of the Compass Call suite, in order to equip two Gulfstream G-550 aircrafts. This is part of P-MMMS (Piattaforma Multi-Missione, Multi- Sensore/Multi-Mission, Multi-Sensor Platform) program, aimed at obtaining a modern asset that can be integrated in a net-centric C4ISTAR architecture and later adapted for multi-domain operations.

💰As part of this program, the Italian Air Force already acquired two Gulfstream G550 CAEW. Later on, the necessity to expand SIGINT capabilities arose and the Air Force launched the P-MMMS program, which is structured in three phases.

1️⃣ The first one, worth 1.2 billion Euro, covers the acquisition of the first two aircrafts in Full Mission Capable (FMC) and six “green” airframes convertible to either JAMMS or CAEW configurations, along with logistic and infrastructural support. The Italian Air Force plans to operate a fleet of ten special mission modified G-550s in various configurations.

2️⃣ The second one, worth 925 million Euro, will see the modification of 4 out of 6 green airframes, in either CAEW or JAMMS.
A extension to the second phase, approved this very month, requests to convert the two remaining "green" G550s, with options for a third, to the FMC Electronic Attack (EA) Configuration. This version will install the American-made Compass Call system, designed to disrupts enemy command and control communications, radars, and navigation systems and limits adversary coordination, which is essential for enemy force management.

🥇 If the US government will approve Italian request, Italy will be the first foreign country to obtain the top-secret Compass Call system and Italian Air Force would be one of the few in the world capable of operating a state-of-the-art EA system.

🇮🇹🇵🇱 Two Italian Air Force F-35A aircraft of the 32° Stormo (Wing), soon to be followed by two more aircraft, arrived at Malbork air base in Poland. Italy was the first NATO member to deploy F-35s to NATO mission in Iceland for Policing Mission. The F-35 Lightning IIs will patrol the sky over Poland and eastern flank as part of the NATO’s deterrence and defence mission.
