📝Imam Hassan (pbuh) halted military confrontation with an enemy that needed to be exposed first before being confronted, so that he could begin his political, cultural, and ideological struggle against him. ... Imam Hassan laid the groundwork for Ashura and the continuation of Imamate in Shia Islam. (June 7, 1985)

📝I believe Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (pbuh) is the most courageous figure in the history of Islam. ... True courage lies in taking action in accordance with what one's intellect and ideology deem to be the greater good, even if no one understands what’s been done. Imam Hassan was willing to sacrifice his own reputation, his image, and his popularity among his closest companions for the sake of that greater good.
