Since the ceasefire started, Zawtar has been attacked like a 100 times.

More airstrikes are happening during the ceasefire than from during the war

5 Lebanese towns were attacked by drones

3 Lebanese towns had demolitions reported in them

This is all happening while other Lebanese are living normal lives and drooling over peace with Israel. Lebanese Shia continue to suffer in displacement with barely any support.

Zawtar has been attacked 35 times with airstrikes

There is real worry that the IDF will attempt to advance to the towns and cross north the Litani river.

ACRL announces unprecedented federal class-action lawsuit against the U.S. government over destruction of Lebanese American property abroad

They argue that U.S. military aid, from advanced weaponry to funding, has contibuted to the destruction of U.S. citizens' property in Lebanon.

Under the Leahy law, if a specific unit which is provided US military assistance is found responsible for such violations, the United States is required to immediately cut off all support to that unit.

"I stand before you today not only as a civil rights advocate, but as someone personally affected by the ongoing war on Lebanon," ACRL Chairman Nasser Beydoun said.
