🇸🇴⚡️ BREAKING: Merca, the capital of Somalia's Lower Shabelle province, has fallen to a newly emerged and previously unidentified militia calling itself the 'Rapid Support Forces'.

Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

A delegation led by the Minister, along with the heads of the General Intelligence Directorate and the Military Intelligence Directorate, met with an Israeli delegation, with American mediation and Jordanian hosting.

The aim of the meeting was to de-escalate tensions following the recent Israeli shelling and the unrest in the south, and to support the stability of Syria and the region.

Discussions focused on establishing practical mechanisms to stop the attacks and arrests, and to revive negotiations for a security agreement that would lay the foundation for a comprehensive future agreement.

The discussions also addressed the importance of supporting the stability of Syria and bringing Turkey and Israel closer together to prevent tensions between them from affecting Syrian territory.
