It was a pleasure to meet with His Excellency, the High Commissioner of Tanzania to South Africa, Ambassador James Bwana to discuss matters of mutual cooperation and discuss our ongoing investment in the Country.
As we move into phase 2 of our investment to substantially increase the processing and cold storage capacity for its Avocado industry to reduce post-harvest losses — whilst bolstering international export and trade volumes, having strong coordination and discussion with Government at all levels will be imperative for fruitful and successful outcomes.

Our investment project in Tanzania is turning out to be a great success. Trees are reaching maturity, and starting to produce fruit, we’ve deployed substantial acreage, we’ve built all development and infrastructure, reservoirs, plumbing, solar electricity, water pumps, facilities, accommodations and more. We are exporting container volumes of fresh avocado to Europe, South Africa, India, United Kingdom, and others. It’s turning out to be our best investment yet! 🥑

Happy to announce we have just signed the final contract to purchase this estate in South Africa to launch another commercial avocado farm.
The property is 330 acres— just 15 minutes from the beach, 8 minutes to the airport, and 75+ temps year round.
We will fundamentally transform this into a luxury property with fine dining, large entertainment venues, a bike park, fire pits, bars, etc, and deploy large scale commercial avocado orchards across the entirety of the estate, with a goal of planting 300 acres, with potential to expand to acquire the next door neighbors property for an additional 300 acres later on.
