Pezeshkian’s interview with Fox News, regardless of the content (which is a terrible and weak display in itself) is a total disgrace and I won’t cover it.

How can you sit down with a news outlet that lobbied in favor of war against your country for over half a year, that whitewashed the U.S. warcrimes against children in Minab and Lamerd, and celebrated the killing of your national and religious leader?

Contrary to Fars and Tasnim, unfortunately negotiations (albeit through mediators) are most definitely taking place at the sidelines of the UN.

Pezeshkian spilled the beans to NBC and Fox News, admitting Iran’s various weaknesses (no oil selling / limited exports) & intent to reach a deal soon, substantially reducing Iran’s leverage.

This whole circus is a debacle and the trip to New York should have never been authorized in the first place.
