“Louis Mosley, the UK boss of Palantir Technologies, noted how Labour's manifesto prior to last year's general election made no mention of such a scheme.
He said there was no 'clear resounding public support at the ballot box' for digital ID cards, adding that Palantir would not bid for any contracts related to the scheme.”

As I said many months ago, the situation in Cuba is unprecedented:
X comment:
"Protests are beginning to be reported in some neighborhoods of Havana, Cuba.
It has been several consecutive days now, and it seems like something bigger is gradually brewing. In multiple areas, they only have ONE HOUR of electricity PER DAY.
Insane."
Second X comment from expatriated Cuban:
"Cuba is no longer in crisis.
Cuba is disintegrating as a country and as a society.
It is practically a genocide, where children, the elderly, and the dispossessed are already falling like flies.
While the rest of the world doesn’t even flinch.
The communist military junta that has plundered the country for over six decades doesn’t need concentration camps: the entire island is a furnace that turns bodies, ideas, and life projects into ashes." https://x.com/cbntaRMNP/status/1975759427954483649

❗️Israel seizes new wave of Freedom Flotilla boats carrying aid to Gaza
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) said Israeli forces attacked and seized several of its boats sailing toward Gaza, including The Conscience, which carried 93 journalists, doctors, and activists.
“The Israeli military has no legal jurisdiction over international waters,” the FFC said. “Our flotilla poses no harm.”
Israel’s foreign ministry confirmed the operation, calling it “another futile attempt to breach the legal naval blockade.” It said passengers were being taken to an Israeli port for deportation.
The FFC said the convoy was carrying more than $110,000 worth of medical and nutritional aid for Gaza’s hospitals and that passengers were “being held in unknown conditions.”
Activists from Ireland, France, and Denmark were also among those detained.
