– At Today's FDA VRBPAC Meeting to Review #Pfizer's Maternal #RSV Vaccine, Dr. Paul Offit Got Into a Tense Exchange w/ the FDA and Pfizer

Offit: "GSK also had a maternal vaccine program. Their vaccine was almost identical to this vaccine...they had a problem with premature births...If GSK has truly abandoned a program on an almost identical vaccine...it does need to be addressed."

Pfizer: "There's the real opportunity then to look at this...when we have larger numbers of women being vaccinated to determine whether or not there is in fact any sort of a signal...We can investigate that again post-approval."
