For example, the Wall Street Journal ran an op-ed titled “The Moral Duty to Destroy #Hamas,” telling its readers that “Israel is entitled to do whatever it takes to uproot this evil, depraved culture that resides next to it.” Calling for the destruction of Hamas and extending the call to exterminate the “culture” is a call for #genocide. It mirrored and promoted #Israeli announcements that they would turn #Gaza into “hell,” “rubble,” and a “city of tents.”
