ChatterUI is a native mobile frontend for LLMs.
Run LLMs on device or connect to various commercial or open source APIs. ChatterUI aims to provide a mobile-friendly interface with fine-grained control over chat structuring.
Features:
Run LLMs on-device in Local Mode
Connect to various APIs in Remote Mode
Chat with characters. (Supports the Character Card v2 specification.)
Create and manage multiple chats per character.
Customize Sampler fields and Instruct formatting
Integrates with your device’s text-to-speech (TTS) engine
Usage
Download and install latest APK from the releases page.
iOS is Currently unavailable due to lacking iOS hardware for development
Local Mode
ChatterUI uses a llama.cpp under the hood to run gguf files on device. A custom adapter is used to integrate with react-native: cui-llama.rn
To use on-device inferencing, first enable Local Mode, then go to Models > Import Model / Use External Model and choose a gguf model that can fit on your device's memory. The importing functions are as follows:
Import Model: Copies the model file into ChatterUI, potentially speeding up startup time.
Use External Model: Uses a model from your device storage directly, removing the need to copy large files into ChatterUI but with a slight delay in load times.
After that, you can load the model and begin chatting!
Note: For devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and above or Exynos 2200+, it is recommended to use the Q4_0 quantization for optimized performance.
Remote Mode
Remote Mode allows you to connect to a few common APIs from both commercial and open source projects.

Ollama
Dedicated API:
OpenAI
Claude (with ability to use a proxy)
Cohere
Open Router
Mancer
AI Horde

The SSRI scam is one of the most diabolical ever foisted upon humanity. The whole hypothesis should have been thrown out ages ago. It just doesn't make sense. All SSRIs do is induce a back-up of serotonin in the brain, and that's not necessary at all. EVERY tissue in the body can produce serotonin, if needed to maintain homeostasis. And there's actuall evidence that SSRIs cause violent behavior. For instance, violent men's blood serotonin level was found to be 0.5 standard deviations above the mean of nonviolent men in one study. (PMID: 9532350)

Use of SSRIs is associated with up to 37% increased risk of violent crime in young people. The increased risk persists for months after cessation.

So when you read "SSRIs exert action by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin, thereby increasing serotonin activity" - read that as there's a backup of violence-inducing chemicals in the brain that now need to be processed by their receptors, and it can take weeks to get it out of one's system.
SSRIs also inhibit calcium incorporation into bone, which then upregulates absorption pathways for calcium, which toxic metals like lead and aluminum can more effectively utilize and build up in much higher amounts.
This is why SSRIs are associated with virtually all of the mass shootings we see.
They indirectly lead to heavy metal toxicity like lead, which is absolutely associated with violence and criminality.

It made me completely numb and I experienced what many can only describe as "electric shocks" in the brain, where you feel stunned, you feel the sensation of time passing in a strange way - and that was enough for me to go cold turkey.
Want to know why Jordan Peterson crashed out? He went full-on carnivore for an extended period of time and likely, in my non-professional, non-medical, completely pedestrian armchair opinion, developed serotonin syndrome. 90% of your serotonin is made in your gut.
Is serotonin an evil thing you should try to limit? No, of course not. It has its purposes. I'm just saying, the whole thesis about it causing depression is nonsense that should have been thrown out the window a long time ago, and the "remedies" that have been offered based on that theory are garbage that operate on other principles, and more often than not, come with terrible, life-threatening side-effects.
If you're someone who is struggling with depression, I would suggest researching thiamine therapy. Clearly, that is not medical advice. Go seek the counsel of a doctor familiar with thiamine therapy and don't get your medical knowledge from random guys on the internet. Personally, for me, I'd rather resolve any symptoms I've experienced with vitamins instead of mind-altering big pharma substances operating according to long-since debunked hypotheses.
