What this incident has certainly done is allowed government watchdogs online in real time to catalogue all those social media accounts that (1) hold it acceptable that a man can be assassinated if his beliefs do not align with their own, (2) identify those accounts who hold that no assassination is acceptable for any reason, and (3) silent accounts are catalogued as well, for those who remain silent are also valuable data to be collected.

Sorry I don’t buy that some light pushback on Israel in 2025 after two years of genocide makes him a threat or genuine, he just saw—much like many in his circle—where the wind was blowing.
