According to reports by the Maariv newspaper, as many as 5,000 buildings in Israel have been damaged amid Iranian missiles, an escalation that followed Israel’s entry alongside the United States into a wider war with Iran.

The conflict intensified after sustained Israeli and US airstrikes targeted Iranian military and strategic sites, killing senior officials and devastating infrastructure across Iran, which prompted Tehran to launch sustained missile and drone barrages.
