🔸One of the important factors for evaluating a person is his way of looking at things. Why is a person’s #perspective so important and effective? Because, a person’s perspective is the product of a person’s total being.
🔸People do not make decisions based on just their knowledge. They decide based on their attitude and their way of looking at things.
🔸Each person’s way of looking at things arises from his #interests along with his #knowledge. A person’s way of looking at things is never only based on just his knowledge and awareness. Certain things happen in a person’s heart, which form his outlook.
🔸A person’s interests and tendencies effect his perspective. If you like a certain event to happen very much, your point of view about it will become very positive. You will constantly rationalise it by saying, “This is doable!” If you do not like it to be done, your point of view about it will become negative and you will constantly say, “This is not doable!”
🔸If you are afraid, your way of looking at matters becomes a certain way. If you are a brave person, your way of looking at matters is different! If you love this world very much, your way of looking at death will be different from when you do not love the world that much.

Looking from above eliminates unnecessary precautions and increases a person’s courage in doing hard actions for reaching lofty goals. In the same way, it increases a person’s ability to plan precisely and to do long-time planning.

👉🏼 The Stages of the Sweetness of the Month of Ramadan: 1. Being New 2. Fondness
🔸In the same way that in the beginning of the holy month of #Ramadan something called ‘being #new’ gives vitality and happiness to a person, in the following days, something called ‘#fondness’ comes about, and a person can taste a different sweetness. Of course, the sweetness that comes from fondness is much deeper than the sweetness that is created in a person’s heart as the result of something being new.
🔻How can we reach to the second stage of the sweetness of the month of Ramadan?
🔸In order for the beginning sweetness to continue and to reach to fondness, one should be hard on him/herself and resist in the face of his/her own #reluctance.

It is difficult for a person to understand what #tendencies he has, because his heart is very complicated. Where do we show our 🔸🔸🔸tendencies? Your #discernment and way of looking at things is the place where you show and expose your hidden interests. It is the place for self-evaluation too.
🔸A person’s tendencies and interests can be identified from his perspective, and his perspective can be distinguished from his actions and behaviours. For example, when you postpone repenting and preparing to get close to God, this is a sign that your way of looking at #time is wrong. You think seventy years is a lot of time!
🔸Sometimes people censor themselves and do not give their opinions. Each person’s #opinion shows what is going on in his heart. Each person’s opinion shows his leanings, tendencies, and sometimes his inner illnesses.
🔸Ask God to give you understanding. If God wants to give you understanding, He must clean your heart very much. If you have insight, you will gain understanding too. After gaining understanding, you will give the same opinion that is your Master’s opinion.
🔸A person’s perspective and discernment arise from his tendencies. Aba al-Fazl al-Abbas (‘a) had discernment and his discernment tells us about his hidden tendencies, inner purity and loyalty. Hazrat Abbas (‘a) did not have any black spots on his heart.

In any relationship, a person who is nervous and is used to showing his/her anger, forces other people to yield to him/her, to have poor self-esteem and to lose his/her self-confidence. A nervous person should cure his/her own illness first before fixing others, even if others are wrongdoers. Otherwise, he/she will constantly oppress the people who are around him/her.

🔸One of the reasons for the sweetness of entering the dear month of #Ramadan is the feeling of needing to #be_close_to_God, which is understandable only when a measure of closeness is achieved. It is at this time a person understands how bitter it was to be far from God. The warm feeling of God’s love and mercy can be felt easily in the beginning due to the amount of coldness, which previously came from neglecting Him. Then, a person understands how cold and soulless he was outside of God’s kind, warm embrace.
🔸It is as if we human beings gradually get used to living #without_God or being far from Him, or at least we do not feel much of a need for being close to God. But, as we step into God’s good month, we remember we needed His love very much.

Deep calmness comes from talking to God frequently about your past and future. Then, God will give you calmness and will caress you.
