π· Prayer is an opportunity
Prayer is an opportunity for us, otherwise God does not need these gestures from us and our inner feelings suffice to express our devotion to Him and He sees it. Prayer gives us the opportunity to express that inner feeling of devotion, and to benefit ourselves by this expression and thereby increase our devotion.

π· The minimum effect of prayer
The minimum effect of prayer is disconnecting from the world and its maximum effect is connecting with God. The minimum effect comes with the prayer itself, like when a child is forced away from his toys. But its maximum effect depends on us, that if we can abandon those toys. If you experience connecting to God, you will fall in love with prayer.

π· The value of realism
Realism prevents man from daydreaming, observing all realities saves him from crudity, and having
the correct analysis of realities takes him to the heights.

π· Religiousness is the same as realism, but!
Superficial people consider realism as an escapeway from the complicated rules of religion which appear dangerous. While religiousness is the realism itself, but it includes all the realities.

π· Realism, the only condition for religiousness
In order to be religious we only need to be realistic. God is the greatest reality of the universe and the day of judgement is the end of all realities and the most permanent reality of human life. The difference lies only in the ways we observe the realities and achieve them.

π· Realism, the source of purity of heart
When we become realistic, the realities surround us with all strictness and prevent us from sensualism. That is when the purity of conscience arises and the faith begins to flourish.

π·From which angle are we observing the facts?
It is not enough to be realistic; what is important is the point of view from which we are observing the facts. The viewpoints created by our interests and daydreamings, are not suitable for observance of realities.

π·How do bitter realities become bearable?
When realism is accompanied by love and devotion, and when we do not face long-term bitter realities, we achieve a profound and lasting love which makes us capable of bearing short-term bitter realities.
