🔸Last year I was in a terrible spot struggling with depression, loneliness and an abusive marriage. I stumbled upon some lectures of Agha Panahian and listening to them gave me so much hope. His wise words and gentle and uplifting videos felt like a gift from God when I needed to pick myself up. I remember a particular video about God's kindness that inspired me so much that I wrote it down in my journal to read over and over again. It literally cured my depression and renewed my connection God.

A person who does not have a correct definition of life cannot reach to a correct definition of religion. A person who does not want improvement in his or her life, will not understand the necessity of being religious either. A person whose definition of life is not being passive in confronting his or her likings and sees life as the place for learning skills to change one’s taste and to develop one’s likings will become religious.

🔻Before teaching your children to pray, tell them the stories of the Prophet (s) so much that he becomes pleasing to them. Afterwards say, “The Prophet Muhammad (s) prayed like this.” Then, he or she will like praying. This is the wisest way to penetrate and influence people’s souls. Do not think that the wisest way is to start from monotheism. We do not just care about thoughts; we also care about the whole spirit of a human being.
🔻If a person is very dear to you, you will believe in his wisdom, inner purity, and kindness. You know that he will never be disloyal to you, and he is lovable. You know that he is always pure and affectionate and extremely kind to you. If such a person becomes friends with you and one day asks you for something small, won’t you accept it?
