Satan makes a person either disappointed or proud. Satan’s constant goal is to bring a person to one of these two states. When he makes a person disappointed, he or she cannot move. When he makes a person proud, he or she will become hasty and careless. In both of these two states, the number of a person’s mistakes increases.

🔸Sometimes our #lifestyle does not allow us to #think; it prevents thinking. Music, various kinds of entertainment, and anything that attracts a person’s attention to itself too much, prevent thinking. Even listening to too many speeches prevents thinking. If you read your messages every minute whenever you receive one, you won’t be able to become a thinker! Decide to read your messages at a certain time, for example, between 8 and 9 pm.
🔸Psychologists say, “Whatever entertains a person and prevents him or her from thinking, causes one to become less intelligent. One example is being used to watching too much TV.” Therefore, if you see that a film or a TV serial is very attractive and entertaining for you, don’t watch it!
🔸God says, “If you want to talk with Me privately, come at midnight! Speeches, gatherings for reading eulogies, prayer meetings, mourning ceremonies, speakers and the readers of eulogies can help you to get going. But, come at #dawn, think yourself and talk to Me.” In the same way, the verse, “…and who think about the creation of the heavens and the earth…” (Qur’an, 3: 191) should be read at dawn.

God has done us a favor and put small enjoyments in front of us so that we can abandon them. By abandoning these little enjoyments, He wants us to gain an extensive existence and deeper enjoyments. I wish we knew that many enjoyments are not for us to use. A person gains superior enjoyments by abandoning smaller enjoyments.

🔸#Affection is the common language for everyone. Affection is something beyond religions and cultures. One of the things, which does not have any borders, is affection. The whole world understands that #loving_someone is beautiful, enjoyable, and valuable.
The fact that “there is a nation that has a #mother and that the people of that nation love her at the highest level, praise her gloriously, and love her so much that they are willing to die for her,” is beautiful and spectacular for everyone. Everyone loves to see this affection. We can attract all the people of the world by showing #Fatimah Zahra’s (‘a) popularity.
🔸There is no personality like Hazrat Zahra (‘a) in the world at all. None of the cultures, civilizations, myths or legends of the world have ever been able to create a personality as lovable as Hazrat Zahra (‘a), or even in a much, much smaller dimension. We have this great personality. She is such a great person that even if all the trees were to become pens and all the seas were to become ink for poems and texts to be written about loving Hazrat Zahra (‘a), this would still not be enough. With the little information that we have from the life of this 18-year-old honourable lady, we can stir the world. So why shouldn’t we address this topic?

He even appreciates the smallest good point that exists in us, which no one else sees. The Day of Judgment is a day of wonder for pure people. 🔸“Basirah” is one of the key terms in the Qur’an. It means #looking at things in a correct way. When it is written, “This (Qur’an) is an enlightenment for the people.” [Qur’an 45:20] it means that the Qur’an trains a person in such a way that he or she will look at things correctly.
🔸A major portion of our #wellbeing or #misery depends on our way of looking at things. Our ability to analyze things depends on how we look at them. Our deep thoughts and where we stand on various issues depends on our way of looking at things.
🔸Our #happiness or #sorrow also depends on how we look at each phenomenon. Our #positive or #negative way of looking at things, or being #hopeful or #hopeless, all depend on our way of looking at things.
🔸It is possible for a person to see a phenomenon and become very hopeless. However, if another person sees the same phenomenon, he or she becomes very hopeful. This depends on people’s way of looking at things.
