🌙 Let’s taste the sweetness of God’s Banquet. (3)

👉🏼 The Banquet for the Friends of God is an opportunity for answering their endless needs.

🔸Many think spiritual people have been able to be with God constantly because they have put aside #diversions, #entertainment, and much of the natural #happiness needed by a human being. This means they have put the world aside, and the reward that they receive in the Hereafter is because of the #suffering that they tolerate due to #being_with_God.

🔸However, the truth is that it is only this group that always has a banquet and a cheeriness in their hearts even at times other than the month of #Ramadan. In fact, this banquet is being held for them. Everyone else is in the margins of this banquet.

🔸That is why the month of Ramadan has been called the celebration for God’s Friends where Imam Zayn al-Abidin, Imam Sajjad (‘a), said, “Peace be on you O God’s greatest month and the celebration for His Friends.”

📷 We will enjoy life more if…

If we believe that the essence of this world is that it is not the place of comfort and joy, our expectation from this world will decrease. Then, we will have a stronger life, and actually, we will enjoy life more.

📷 Duty and Destiny

Accepting reasonable restrictions and not accepting the misplaced restrictions or aggression of oppressors both require liberty. A person who is in pursuit of his/her own desires neither accepts reasonable restrictions nor resists in the face of the misplaced restrictions of oppressors. Duty and destiny both create some restrictions for a person, which wise people accept.

🔻What can we do to have a correct way of looking at things?
Good tendencies give us a correct outlook and bad tendencies give us a wrong outlook!
🔻A person who is indifferent about right and wrong will have a wrong outlook.

👉🏼 Perspective (9)

Some say, “In #scientific discussions, we should put aside our #tendencies and be neutral so that our #outlook will not be influenced by any tendencies. Otherwise, we will not understand the truth!” However, a person’s opinions and outlook are definitely influenced by his tendencies.

🔸Having a correct #perspective is dependent on a person’s tendencies and likings. Bad tendencies give a wrong outlook to a person and good tendencies give a good and correct outlook to a person.

🔸When they say, “Do not allow your tendencies to influence your scientific evaluations,” they mean wrong tendencies. However, one should allow his good and correct tendencies to have an effect.

🔸Some good tendencies and some #truth_seeking open a person’s mind and better his understanding. Increase your tendency towards the truth so that you may have a good understanding! If you are a truth-seeking person, you’ll gain a correct outlook.

🔸If a person is indifferent about right and wrong and loses his sensitivity to #oppression, God will deprive him of the power of understanding and his outlook will become corrupted. For example, if a person is indifferent about the murdering of Muslims in Myanmar, when he studies this crime, he will not come to a correct result or viewpoint.

🔻A Beautiful Story about the Relationship between Imam Hasan (‘a) and Imam Husayn (‘a)

🔸A beggar came to Imam Husayn’s (‘a) house. The Imam asked him, “Did you go to my older brother, Imam Hasan (‘a)?” The needy man replied, “No.” The Imam said, “I won’t move ahead of my brother, Hasan. Go to him first.”
The needy man went to Imam Hasan and asked for help. The Imam gave him 20 Dinars. Then he returned to Imam Husayn and said, “Your brother helped me. You help me too.” The Imam asked him, “How much did he give you?” He replied, “20 Dinars.” Imam Husayn gave him 19 Dinars.
The needy man asked him, “Why did you give less?” The Imam replied, “I never go ahead of my brother. He’s my older brother, and I respect him in all ways.”

🌸 Congratulations on the anniversary of the birth of Imam Hasan bin Ali (‘a)!

🎦 Ugly Repentances

🔻Be careful you don’t repent like this!

@PanahianEN
🌙 Let’s taste the sweetness of God’s Banquet. (4)

👉🏼 How should we feel about the month of Ramadan?

🔸 [The Prophet of God (s) said the month of Ramadan is a banquet.] We should have understood some of the difficult aspects of this month from the term “banquet.” Because, when one is in a banquet, one cannot be #comfortable in the same way that he is in his own house, even if he is receiving many gifts. Because he must be polite, he is not as comfortable as he is when he is in his own house. When one is at a banquet, no matter how much fun a person is having, he cannot behave in just any way he likes. Based on the importance and grandeur of the banquet, more than thinking about being comfortable, one thinks about benefiting from it.

🔸 When the Prophet of God (s) told Jabir bin Abdullah about the numerous blessings of the month of #Ramadan along with its #conditions and #rituals, Jabir became happy at the sweet effects and promises for the month of Ramadan. He said, “O Prophet of God, what beautiful words you have spoken!” However, the Prophet of God replied, “O Jabir, but how hard these conditions are!” [Kafi, vol. 4, p. 87] In fact, he wanted to specify the difficulties involved in observing the rituals of the month of Ramadan and draw Jabir’s attention to the sensitive nature and importance of the month of Ramadan. It is obvious that the Prophet of God (s) wants his good follower to be concerned about being careful to observe the month of Ramadan’s rituals more than to become drowned in enjoying the blessings of the month of Ramadan.

📷 Practicing the Ability to Focus

The ability to focus is a sign of the strength of the soul. In order to gain the ability to focus, first of all, do not let others force you to focus on something. Then, increase your attention in prayer.

🌙 Let’s taste the sweetness of God’s Banquet. (5)

👉🏼 Perhaps in this way we can become more hopeful.

🔸After each act of negligence and sin, the first thing that is hurt is that we think we have become #degraded in front of #God, He does not love us, and He will not look at us anymore. No one can easily convince us that God is always worried for us, He loves us, and we have not lost Him yet. Perhaps the environment of this Banquet can better our belief about God’s kindness and increase our #hope for becoming better.

📷 Loneliness means…

Loneliness means there is no one whom you can talk to about your pains or to whom you can express your happiness. Sometimes God deliberately leaves people alone so that we talk to Him.

👉🏼 We should be worried about our spiritual height!

🔸The month of #Ramadan is the ultimate time when we are good, and we are not usually in a better situation at other times outside the month of Ramadan. In comparison to any score we get in the month of Ramadan, our score will probably be lower at other times. Being #worried that the spiritual height we are flying at may not be high enough and that the zenith of our humanity may lessen in this month is a matter that severely worries people who are #ambitious and not ignoble.

🔰Imam Ali’s (‘a) Sorrows

🔻The First Sorrow
🔸Imam Ali’s first #sorrow was martyrdom. The Commander of the Faithful (‘a) was the Prophet’s (s) successor and son-in-law. When Gabriel brought revelation to the Prophet (s), #Imam_Ali (‘a) saw and heard everything. He was Fatimah’s (‘a) spouse and the father of two Imams. Ali (‘a) had all of the virtues. But, he used to cry and ask the Prophet (s), “O Prophet of God, why don’t I become a #martyr?!”
Dear Ali, you are even next to God in this world too. You are close to God when praying. Why do you like to become a martyr?

🔻The Second Sorrow
🔸His second sorrow was the sorrow he felt for people. He lengthened the “Battle of Siffin.” People asked, “O Ali, why do you do this?” He replied, “I swear, I only do this to give time to those in the enemy’s ranks to regret and join us! If we quickly fight and they are killed, they will go to Hell!” He did not even like to kill his #enemies and felt sad for them! He even counselled his children about his murderer.

🔻The Third Sorrow
🔸His third sorrow was due to his #friends. When a companion was martyred in the “Battle of Siffin,” he would cry very hard. He searched among the dead for the body of Ammar reading a poem with this meaning, “O world, you are so bad! You look and see who I love, and then, you take him away from me!”

🔻The Hardest Sorrow
🔸Among all his sorrows, the hardest was that people remained ignorant! Imam Khomeini said this was the worst agony for Ali (‘a) who used to say, “I do not like your world even a bit!” He did not like to defend himself, but preferred to be #unknown! But, people said, “Ali! You are greedy for the caliphate and governing!” Therefore, he was forced to #defend and introduce himself to the people. He defended himself to guide the people. The main oppression they brought on him was not fighting with him. It was their continuous #accusations. For example, they accused him of Uthman’s murder! This is while it has been recorded in history that he did his best for Uthman not to be killed. With all of these, it is not surprising that he used to cry into a well!

Tonight, Ali (‘a) becomes free from all accusations forever...

📷 Our Regulated and Very Calculated World

We live in a regulated and very calculated world. If nothing was calculated in this world, it was impossible to live in it. Therefore, each behavior has certain effects, which return to us automatically, unless God shows mercy, destroys the bad effects of our mistakes and grants blessings to the effects of our good behavior.

💥A Special Longing for a Special Night

🔸One level of sincerity is that we stay up during the night of the 23rd of the month of #Ramadan just to pray for the #Reappearance of the Imam (‘a.j.). Asking for forgiveness or asking for other needs is fine, but let’s have our main intention to be praying for the Reappearance. When we do this, we will feel the difference.

🔸The truth is that we have become used to his absence, because we have not thought very much about the greatness of the Reappearance, the tragedy of him being in occultation and the fact that the world is deprived of his government.

🔸Crying when asking for the Reappearance of the #Saviour requires #thinking. If we do not reach a high level of thinking for understanding the necessity of his Reappearance in the #Night_of_Destiny, we will never understand it. I ask you to pray for the Reappearance.
