โก๏ธWhen remembering the Holy Prophet (s), why do we only remember his kindness and not his authority?
For 1400 years, the tyrants in the Islamic societies have endeavored that the Messenger of God (s) only be talked about in such a way that when we hear his name, we only remember his "kindness" and not his "authority."
The Almighty God Himself says in the Holy Qur'an, "And verily We have raised in every nation a messenger, (proclaiming): Serve Allah and avoid the tyrants." (Qurโan 16: 36) Every prophet who was sent had two goals, and these two goals were two sides of the same coin. One was worshipping God and the other was fighting the tyrants. All the conflicts with the divine prophets were conflicts that were due to the power seekers.
The reason the Holy Prophet (s) sought to take power was because without power and authority it was impossible to save humankind. It is clear that with power and authority, it is more possible to promote morals and spirituality. The reason the Prophet sought to take power was not because he wanted to guide people by force. Rather, it is the power seekers who use all kinds of coercion and deception to deceive the people, hinder their growth and corrupt society.
The most important cultural, moral action that can take place in a society is for the people who are powerful and have authority in that society to be good people.
