This week the Polish government adopted a draft amendment to the Penal Code prepared by the Ministry of Justice.

This amendment will expand hate speech laws to include gender and sexual orientation.

Currently there are hate speech laws in Poland for nationality and religion, but you are legally free to say whatever you want about LGBT.

It will soon be considered by the Polish parliament.
