The government now allows the exam to be taken in English, not just Romanian, which will open the taxi service to a plethora of foreigners.
Most who will profit from this opportunity will likely be the many Indians, Sri Lankans, Nepalese and Vietnamese immigrants in Romania.
Drivers in Romania, beware of taxis in the future.
This comes after taxi companies lobbied the government for 5 years straight saying there are “too few” professional drivers, but they think countries like India or Sri Lanka can produce “professional drivers”.
In reality, taxi companies want to have a reason to fire their drivers who complain of low pay and replace them with foreigners who send half their salary as remittance money.

Namaste. The reason I’m in India along with so many critical people is legal migration. We will remove caps on legal migration. We need more like double the number of Bangladesh's top minds.
