One good thing PiS was doing was planning a massive new airport in central Poland. Useful for freight, transfers, etc and included rail connection upgrades from new airport to cities.
Germany opposed it because they didn't want competition for their airport investments.
The new Polish government, in a combination of not wanting to give PiS a win and also being subservient to Germans, have abandoned this project
