Every time we sing a song or listen to a sermon centered around waiting on the Lord it REALLY lands with people. I think it’s because almost all of us are waiting on something... clarity, healing, provision, direction, an answered prayer. We're in that space between what God promised and what we're currently experiencing, and that space can feel so confusing. Most of us don't struggle with believing God CAN do a thing we struggle with not knowing WHEN He will.

🙏 Prayer for Peace in Iran and the Middle East 🙏

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your mercy in Iran, Israel, and across the Middle East, where war and conflict have brought fear, loss, and devastation to countless lives. (Current violence involving Iran and Israel includes military strikes that have sparked wider regional instability.)

Lord, You are the God of peace — the One who calms nations and restrains human anger.
Your Word says, “He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields with fire.” (Psalm 46:9)
So we pray now for that peace to come in truth and power.

We ask You:

🕊 Bring an immediate end to conflict and violence — let ceasefires hold, and let peace talks succeed.
“Turn from anger and forsake wrath; do not fret — it leads only to evil.” (Psalm 37:8)

🛡 Protect the innocent and vulnerable — especially children, families, the sick, and the displaced.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him.” (Psalm 28:7)

💡 Give wisdom, compassion, and restraint to leaders — in Iran, Israel, the U.S., and all nations involved.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, ask God… and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5)

❤️ Heal broken hearts and bring reconciliation between people divided by fear, hate, and distrust.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)

🌍 Let Your peace reign throughout the region — where hatred currently grows, let love take root.
“For You, Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.” (Psalm 86:5)

Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace,
Pour out Your Spirit on all who suffer, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of every person affected by this conflict.
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)

Heavenly Father,

Before anything else, thank You for waking me up to this beautiful Friday morning and for helping me make it through this challenging week. Thank You for keeping me and my family safe and for watching over us day in and day out. Lord, we thank You for Your grace, Your faithfulness, and Your love that gives us strength, especially during these harder times. Today, I pray that You continue to be beside me and help me finish through this week.

Remove any negative thoughts and laziness from my mind and body, and remind me that with You by my side, nothing is impossible. I praise and honor You, and I dedicate this day to You. May Your Holy Spirit guide me through everything I have to do. I humbly pray that You heal and protect my family, my loved ones, and everyone reading this prayer. May You help them with all their needs and bless them with good health, healing, and financial breakthroughs. I pray that You protect us from everything sent to harm us. May You bless all of us with a beautiful Friday and a safe weekend. Please fill our hearts with Your love, happiness, and peace. We need You and love You, God. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.
