Thank You for Your heaven-sent Word, rooted in truth, which penetrates my heart.
Your righteousness triumphs over hatred.
Through Christ, our sin and the power of hate are defeated, and we are made safe in His presence.
Thank You for Your immeasurable grace that saves me, no matter what I have done.
May the mind of Christ guide all my actions and attitudes, my thoughts, and the motives of my heart.
May His gracious character be reflected in my life as I seek to live in a way that is pleasing to You, to His praise and glory.

*Prayer :*

So help us to walk in this light, in Your light. May our actions be in step with our beliefs. May we walk the talk. May we keep no dark secrets, nor hide anything away - especially not the light You now place within our hearts.

Help us, too, to reach out in the light of love to others: to those who still walk in darkness; to those who live in the shadows of poverty and injustice; and to those who need help to see the Way.

Light up our life, Lord, that we may shine like stars, in brilliance, in wonder, but most of all, in love.
In Jesus' name. AMEN

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

The more time you spend in God's Word, the more your mind is renewed.
The more you pray, the stronger your spirit becomes.
The more you seek God's presence, the less appealing the things of this world begin to look.

Do not starve your spirit while feeding your flesh all day long.

Feed yourself God's truth, every day.
Spend time in prayer, daily.
Open your Bible daily.
Guard your heart carefully.
And stay close to Jesus Christ in a world constantly trying to pull you away from Him!

Guard your spirit! God is with you!

“We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.” Colossians 1:9b NIV

One of the things that delay us children of God is we do things out of Our Father’s will because we don’t know what is His will for us. We are not even bothered to ask Him for directions before making any decisions, we are happy to just face the world on our own and leave our fate to whatever. We need to develop a life that is fully dependent on our Father. We can avoid some of the delays and heartaches if we seek our Father in every thing we do, regardless of how minor we think it is. God wants us to be fully entrenched in our lives and He is faithful to reveal Himself and His will in our lives when we ask.

*Let’s pray:*

Father, thank You for Your Spirit that You have given to Your children. Lord, I ask that You open their spiritual eyes and ears so they may hear what the Spirit says. Guide them and reveal all truths You want them to see. Give them the wisdom to discern and make decisions worthy of Your Name. May their lives guided by Your Spirit be pleasing in Your eyes and bear fruits in every good way. In Jesus Name, Amen.
