I just spoke to a handful of right-wing Israelis on the phone and their problem with Ben Gvir is that while he made prison conditions for Palestinians worse (a good thing) he largely talks a tough game and does these things on social media but when it comes actual policies he doesn’t deliver. And so they’ll be voting for Smotrich’s HaTzionut HaDat party.
