Registration for the draft on 10/16/40 Joe Biden, Sr. working for American Oil Company in York, at Hill Street and the Ma & Pa Railroad. The address was crossed out and replaced with Y.M.C.A., York, PA
this is an old story - the Biden house was partially damaged in a fire the previous month and when they showed up to register were told the address had to be "technically" current by federal law, so they corrected the address to where they were currently staying, the YMCA.
