VERSE: 2 John 1:9-11
“Whoever transgresses and does not remain in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever remains in the teaching of Christ has both the Father and the Son.”

In a world filled with competing voices and false teachings, believers are called to remain firmly rooted in the truth of Christ. Our faith must not be shaped by popular opinions, cultural trends, or persuasive personalities, but by the unchanging Word of God. To abide in the teaching of Christ is to know Him, obey Him, and faithfully proclaim His Gospel. Scripture also calls us to exercise discernment. We are not to endorse or participate in teachings that deny the truth of Christ, because doing so can lead others away from the Gospel. Love must always be joined with truth, and truth must always be upheld with humility and grace.

PRAYER FOCUS:
Lord, establish my heart in the truth of Your Word. Keep me from deception and give me discernment to recognize every teaching that is not according to Christ. Help me to remain faithful to Your Gospel and to walk in both truth and love. Let my life reflect Your character, and may I never compromise the truth for the approval of people. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

July has come to yield her harvest in obedience to the word of the Lord. We have entered the 7th month. 7 - the biblical number of spiritual precision and perfection. We will now see a SUPERNATURAL PERFECTING in our lives.

Resolution! Settlement! Blessing! Healing! Peace! Full restoration! The shalom of God in our homes, and in our lives in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Where do I find the strength to keep going when I’m tempted to give up?

Galatians 6:9
Let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Endurance comes from keeping our thoughts on God’s promises for the future, not the problems of the moment.

Philippians 1:6
I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Philippians 2:12-13
Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

We cannot endure through our strength alone. God is at work in our lives. He gives us the strength to keep going when we are exhausted and the faith to keep believing when we are discouraged. We need to keep seeking to love him and know him more.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump reviewed military options for a full-scale war against Iran to “finish the job,” but has decided, for now, not to move forward.

The report says Trump is concerned that renewed military conflict could hurt the chances of a diplomatic resolution and of dismantling Iran’s nuclear program, and that he’s shown willingness to let indirect talks in Qatar run past the August 18 deadline. He is said to be fine with continuing limited strikes on Iranian targets if Tehran violates the current temporary deal - as it already has, repeatedly.

How are those negotiations going?

Not well. It seems JD Vance’s “historic” face-to-face achievement was a one-off. Washington has been quietly downgraded from talking to the Great Satan to negotiating with the Little Satan instead - a senior Qatari official confirmed that U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner met Qatari officials in Doha, but there are currently no high-level U.S.-Iran meetings scheduled.

Faced with Iran publicly denying that peace talks even exist, Vance is denying reality right back, insisting it’s merely a “Persian negotiating tactic.” He’s not wrong that rejectionism is a tactic - he’s just wrong about what it’s negotiating for. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmail Baghaei, confirmed the delegation will skip U.S. officials entirely, meeting only the Qataris in Doha to talk about unfreezing Iran’s own assets. The tactic isn’t stalling for a better peace. It’s stalling for a better payment: extract the MoU concessions first, discuss the nuclear file never.

Iranian officials have shown no willingness to meet U.S. nuclear demands, focusing instead on asserting control over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran says it will impose its “sovereignty and new policy” there regardless of whether it reaches an agreement with Oman, calling the strait a purely internal matter. Reports differ on the nature of the proposed transit fees - Iran calls them mandatory, a regional diplomat calls them voluntary, and Oman’s foreign minister rejects fees outright but leaves room for “maritime service” mechanisms such as safety and pollution measures. Regardless of that distinction, Iran seems set on asserting authority over the waterway: it has already indicated that ships paying “security fees” and following IRGC protocols would get priority transit, while others face delays.

Iran will not make a deal the U.S. can accept. That’s the reality. The only question left is how many more “historic” handshakes, Doha detours, and denied peace talks it takes before that reality mugs Vance the way it mugged the godfather of neoconservatism, Irving Kristol, famously defined a conservative as “a liberal who has been mugged by reality.”

If God has given you mercy, do not give Him half your heart!

That is something every one of us should slow down and think about.

Because it is possible to thank God with our mouth while still holding back areas of our life.
It is possible to say, “Lord, I am grateful,” while still giving Him our leftovers, our partial obedience, our Sunday only, or the pieces of our heart we are comfortable surrendering.

But God has been too good to receive half-hearted devotion!

He carried you when you were weak. He was patient with you when you were stubborn. He showed you mercy and grace again and again.
He gave you breath in your lungs, another day to live, His Word, and salvation through Jesus Christ.

So what should our response be?

Romans 12:1 KJB says:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

By the mercies of God… present your life to Him!

Not just your words. Not just your worship when it is convenient. Not just a few minutes when you feel inspired. Not just the parts of your life that are easy to give.

Your heart. Your obedience. Your habits. Your future. Your whole life!

Gratitude is not just saying, “Thank You, Lord.”
It is living like you belong to Him.

And no, that does not mean you will be perfect. None of us are.
It means you stop making peace with compromise.
It means when the Lord convicts you, you listen. When He calls you to grow, you obey. When He shows you what needs to change, you do not run from it!

You surrender it.

Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, God is not asking for part of you.
He is worthy of your whole heart, soul, and life!

So today, ask yourself honestly: am I giving God my whole heart, or only the parts I do not mind letting go of?

Give Him your praise, obedience, gratitude, and your surrender!

Live like you belong to Jesus Christ; because, you do!
