I come before You to lift up those who are suffering from illness.

They need no teachers there; they doubtless commune with one another concerning the things of God, but they do not require this by way of instruction; they shall all be taught of the Lord. Ours are the alms at the king's gate, but they feast at the table itself. Here we lean upon the friendly arm, but there they lean upon their Beloved and upon him alone. Here we must have the help of our companions, but there they find all they want in Christ Jesus. Here we look to the meat which perisheth, and to the raiment which decays before the moth, but there they find everything in God. We use the bucket to fetch us water from the well, but there they drink from the fountain head, and put their lips down to the living water. Here the angels bring us blessings, but we shall want no messengers from heaven then. They shall need no Gabriels there to bring their love-notes from God, for there they shall see him face to face. Oh! what a blessed time shall that be when we shall have mounted above every second cause and shall rest upon the bare arm of God! What a glorious hour when God, and not his creatures; the Lord, and not his works, shall be our daily joy! Our souls shall then have attained the perfection of bliss.

1. When you step out of faith, you cannot live with God.
2. In the kingdom, you believe before you see, not seeing before believing.

4. In your pain or delay, God has His plan.
5. The fact that there is a delay does not mean you should lose trust in God because you need Him.
6. Knowing the Word of God without being born again does not make you a citizen of heaven.

'Light for Everyone' — John 1:8-9

John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light. The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. — John 1:8-9 NLT

John wasn't the light. No, the true light was going to come for everyone. John's ministry was primarily in the desert and to Israelites, but his message wasn't to prepare just Israel for the Messiah. No, we all need his message. Unlike John, the Messiah wasn't going to set up his ministry in the desert and have people come to him. The true light was coming into the world to save all the world. He was going to shine for all people: men and women, slaves and free, Jew and Gentile. [1] Since Jesus is the true light, since he died for our sins and saved us, and since we are his disciples, we need to ask ourselves a crucial question: "What are we - what am I - doing to make sure that everyone gets to know Jesus, God's true light for the world?" Let's be a part of letting the world know that God sent his Son to make salvation available to everyone! [2]

Today's Prayer

O Father, give me a bigger heart for those that I don't know. Use me to share Jesus with those outside my cultural comfort zone. Give me a greater sensitivity to those around me so that they can experience your love and welcoming grace because of the way I treat them. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Prayer for Healing and Restoration:

Heavenly Father, I come to You in prayer, knowing that You are the LORD who heals me. I ask that You take away sickness, infirmity and pain from me and restore me to health. I thank You for sending Your Son into the world, who drove out evil spirits with a command and cured all who were sick. Your love and compassion have not changed. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. I ask for Your Holy Spirit to flow through me and for the destruction of Satan’s work in my life. I bless You, Father, and forget none of your benefits. I trust in your promise to forgive all my sins and heal all my diseases. I believe that by Jesus’ wounds, I have been healed. Heavenly citizenship cannot be obtained by human effort, status, or achievement. It is only through Jesus Christ that we become citizens of the Kingdom of God. 👑

There are times when I cannot put into words my sighs, longings, and heartbreaks, when my burdens feel too deep to express.

I praise You for graciously placing Your Spirit in our hearts.
I am grateful for the Holy Spirit, who makes known the deepest yearnings of my soul.

I know You hear even my unuttered prayers when my heart is too heavy for words, because Your Spirit is active in me.

Help me to open my heart and follow the prompting and guidance of Your Holy Spirit.
I trust that You will answer even my unspoken prayers in Your perfect timing, as I persevere in prayer.

The Bible does not leave us ignorant about our enemy. Satan is a liar, a deceiver, and the father of lies. His goal is to draw people away from God’s truth and destroy their faith. That is why believers are called to stay alert and spiritually awake.

The good news is that we do not fight from a place of fear but from a place of victory in Christ. As we submit ourselves to God, stand on His Word, and resist the devil, he has no choice but to flee. God’s truth always overcomes the enemy’s lies.

Today, choose to fill your heart with God’s Word rather than the voices of fear, doubt, or deception. The truth of Christ will keep you standing firm and walking in freedom.

PRAYER FOCUS
Heavenly Father, help me to remain alert and grounded in Your truth. Give me discernment to recognize every lie of the enemy and the strength to resist him. I submit my life completely to You and declare that I will walk in the victory Christ has won for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What produces you must also sustain you. The faith that brought you to Christ is the same faith you must continue to live by. Don’t abandon the faith that started your journey. Keep trusting God, keep believing, and keep walking with Him. 🙏🔥
