My Old Nature Put to Death

Ephesians 4:22-24

Dear Father, righteous and holy God,

Enable me to put away completely my old human nature - the former lifestyle corrupted by deceitful desires.

Help me to be renewed in the spirit of my mind, to put on a new nature, created in your likeness in true righteousness and holiness.

Father, make me holy like Jesus, righteous with his righteousness!

In the name of the holy Jesus I pray for true holiness within me. Amen.
"His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven." — Song of Songs 5:11

Comparisons all fail to set forth the Lord Jesus, but the spouse uses the best within her reach. By the head of Jesus we may understand his deity, "for the head of Christ is God" and then the ingot of purest gold is the best conceivable metaphor, but all too poor to describe one so precious, so pure, so dear, so glorious. Jesus is not a grain of gold, but a vast globe of it, a priceless mass of treasure such as earth and heaven cannot excel. The creatures are mere iron and clay, they all shall perish like wood, hay, and stubble, but the ever living Head of the creation of God shall shine on for ever and ever. In him is no mixture, nor smallest taint of alloy. He is for ever infinitely holy and altogether divine. The bushy locks depict his manly vigour. There is nothing effeminate in our Beloved. He is the manliest of men. Bold as a lion, laborious as an ox, swift as an eagle. Every conceivable and inconceivable beauty is to be found in him, though once he was despised and rejected of men.
"His head the finest gold;
With secret sweet perfume,
His curled locks hang all as black
As any raven's plume."

The glory of his head is not shorn away, he is eternally crowned with peerless majesty. The black hair indicates youthful freshness, for Jesus has the dew of his youth upon him. Others grow languid with age, but he is for ever a Priest as was Melchizedek; others come and go, but he abides as God upon his throne, world without end. We will behold him to-night and adore him. Angels are gazing upon him-his redeemed must not turn away their eyes from him. Where else is there such a Beloved? O for an hour's fellowship with him! Away, ye intruding cares! Jesus draws me, and I run after him.
The Bible strictly condemns lying and views truthfulness as a core reflection of God's Character.

Lying of any type is WRONG in God's sight.

THE DEVIL IS THE FATHER OF LIES. ( John 8:33 )

GOD HATES LYING

LYING is a mark of an unfaithful person. ( Proverbs 14:5 )

LYING reveals a lack of Godliness. ( Proverbs12:17 )

LYING is a cause of unanswered prayer. (Isaiah 59:2-3 )

LYING often accompanies other Sins.( Hosea 4:1-2 )

LIARS will go to Hell and perish. ( Revelation 21:8 )

Ask God to help you stop lying.

See for Yourself! — John 1:43-46

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, "Come, follow me." Philip was from Bethsaida, Andrew and Peter's hometown.
Philip went to look for Nathanael and told him, "We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth."
"Nazareth!" exclaimed Nathanael. "Can anything good come from Nazareth?"
"Come and see for yourself," Philip replied. — John 1:43-46 NLT

"Come and see for yourself!" What Christianity has to offer the world that no other religion really has is two-fold: 1) a genuine relationship with Jesus, God who walked among us, and 2) grace that makes us acceptable to God rather than our having to earn divine approval. If you really want to decide about Christianity, or you have friends who are wrestling with a similar decision, don't let yourself or them get lost in all the religious debate. Instead, invite them to come and meet Jesus in the Gospel of John, and you do the same. The invitation to "come and see" is repeated several times in the Gospel of John. Meeting Jesus in John won't answer all the questions, but it will point us to the only true answer - Jesus! So if you're doubting, if you're frustrated with the mess that organized religion sometimes makes, if you want to get past the religious hype into the life of God, then heed the invitation Jesus and his disciples give you to "come and see for yourself" who Jesus really is. Begin your own search. Find out for yourself. Seek and you will find!

Today's Prayer

O Father, glorious and holy and mighty, thank you for becoming accessible to me through Jesus. I confess that I sometimes struggle with my faith because of all the imperfections in myself, in your people, and in our churches. However, I thank you for Jesus and his grace, both of which allow me to be your child and know your love even though I am a flawed person living in a flawed world. In Jesus' name, I thank you for your grace. Amen.

Statement by Binance:
Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far. Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
revoked the affected address authorisation;
engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.

Heavenly Father, Almighty God, we come before Your holy presence this beautiful morning with thankful hearts. Lord, we thank You for the gift of life, for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your unconditional love. Thank You, Father, for bringing us into a new month, the month of November.

Father, we dedicate this entire month of November into Your mighty hands. Let this month be a month of blessings, miracles, healing, restoration, breakthroughs, and testimonies for every soul.

Lord Jesus, let Your divine favour rest upon every family, every home, every ministry, and every person who trusts in Your holy name. May no one walk in darkness, sadness, fear, or hopelessness. Fill every heart with Your peace, joy, and everlasting hope.

🙏 Prayer for the Sick and Healing

Heavenly Father, we specially lift up every sick person before Your throne of grace. Lord, stretch out Your mighty healing hands upon them. Touch every body that is suffering from sickness and disease.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray for healing, strength, and restoration. Remove pain, weakness, suffering, and every form of sickness. Bring comfort to those who are struggling with serious illnesses. Strengthen those who are weak and give hope to those who are discouraged.

Lord, let Your healing power flow through every hospital, every home, and every place where someone is crying out for healing. May every sick person experience Your mercy and healing grace.

🙏 Prayer for God's Servants and Their Ministries

Father God, we bring before You all Your servants, pastors, bishops, evangelists, prophets, teachers, and every ministry leader.

Lord, bless every programme, every seminar, every conference, every prayer meeting, every worship service, and every evangelistic activity that Your servants are organizing throughout this month.

Let every programme be filled with Your Holy Spirit. Open the doors that no one can shut. Provide every resource needed. Give Your servants wisdom, strength, courage, and spiritual understanding.

May every message touch hearts, every prayer bring encouragement, and every gathering become an opportunity for people to grow closer to You.

Bless their families, their ministries, and the work of their hands. Protect them from every evil plan and give them strength to continue serving You faithfully.

🙏 Prayer for Every Soul and Every Family

Lord, remember every person who is facing financial difficulties, family problems, loneliness, depression, and disappointment.

Visit every broken family. Restore relationships. Provide for those who are in need. Bless widows, orphans, poor families, and everyone who is struggling.

Father, let November bring new opportunities, open doors, answered prayers, and beautiful testimonies.

Where there is sorrow, bring joy. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is fear, bring courage. Where there is darkness, let Your light shine.

🙏 Declaration for November

I declare in the mighty name of Jesus Christ:

How Do You Know Me? — John 1:47-49

As [Philip and Nathanael] approached, Jesus said, "Now here is a genuine son of Israel — a man of complete integrity."
"How do you know about me?" Nathanael asked.
Jesus replied, "I could see you under the fig tree before Philip found you."
Then Nathanael exclaimed, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God — the King of Israel!" — John 1:47-49 NLT

Jesus knows us. That's because he really knows what's in our human hearts. That's because he walked among people just like us. That's because he made us and knows our inner being. And, if we are Christians, that's because he lives inside us now. Jesus, however, doesn't want to know us to condemn us. No, he knows us to help bring about our best, our holiest, and our most beneficial selves. So let's not hide from him. Instead, let's confess him as our Lord, Savior, Friend, and Teacher. Let's invite the Son of God into our hearts and our lives to make us all that God wants us to be. After all, he left heaven's glory and suffered the indignities of the cross to redeem us!

Today's Prayer

O precious and righteous Father, forgive me for my sin. Search me and purify me from sin, even the sin that I mistakenly may think is secret. Redeem my heart and purify my desires. I not only confess that Jesus is your Son, but I also want him to transform my life, so I make this request in his name. Amen.
