The key to God's grace is...



Humbleness.

Many people spend their lives trying to become stronger, wiser, more capable, and more independent.

The world tells us to trust ourselves.
To follow our hearts.
To rely on our own strength and our own feelings.

But God's Word teaches something very different.
James 4:6 KJB says:
"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."

Think about that.

The Creator of heaven and earth gives grace to the humble.

Not because they are perfect, because they have everything figured out, or because they are strong enough on their own.

But because they recognize their need for Him!

Pride says:
"I can handle this myself."

Humility says:
"Lord, I need You."

And the truth is, every one of us needs Him.

We need His wisdom when we are confused.
His strength when we are weary.
His peace when life feels overwhelming.
His grace when we falll short.

The strongest Christian is not the one who believes they can do everything alone.
The strongest Christian is the one who knows they cannot take a single step without God; for He alone is our strength!

Today, do not be afraid to humble yourself before the Lord.

Lay down your pride.
Lay down your self-reliance to figure every step.
Lay down the burden of trying to carry everything by yourself.

Run to Jesus Christ!

Ask for His help.
Depend on His strength.
And have confidence in HIS words and promises.

Because God does not turn away the humble heart.
He gives more grace.

So, Warrior, humble yourself and stop trying to carry the battle alone.
The Lord is your strength!

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

2 Corinthians 5:10 NKJV: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the Name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that one day I will stand before the judgment seat of Christ and give an account for my life. I repent of every sin, every act of disobedience, every careless word, and every thought that has not honored You.

Lord, search my heart and reveal anything that is not pleasing in Your sight. Wash me thoroughly with the precious blood of Jesus. Forgive me for the things I have done that were wrong, and for the things I failed to do that were right.

Create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Help me to live with eternity in view, walking in holiness, obedience, and reverence before You. Let my life bring glory to Your Name and produce fruit that will remain.

Holy Spirit, empower me to turn away from every evil way and to pursue righteousness, faith, love, and purity. May I live each day prepared for the return of Christ and be found faithful when I stand before Him.

Thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and the forgiveness that is found in Jesus Christ. I receive Your cleansing and commit my life afresh to You today.
