*BEWARE OF FOOLISHNESS*

*SCRIPTURES*

*POINTS*
- Foolishness is not an insult but a spiritual state of a person.
- As wisdom is the principal thing in the school of success, so foolishness is the principal in the school of failure.
- Foolishness is so costly that it can cost you both on earth and in heaven.

*DANGERS OF FOOLISHNESS*
- The foolish shall not stand in the presence of God (Psalm 5:4-5)
- Too many words and unkept vows reveal the folly of the fool (Ecclesiastes 5:3-4)
- A fool is a source of grief to his parents (Proverbs 17:21)
- Foolishness defiles the heart (Mark 7:23)
- Foolishness is a cause of untimely death (Ecclesiastes 7:17)
- The prosperity of fools destroys them (Proverbs 1:32)
- Fools will be denied access to heaven (Revelation 22:15)

*IDENTIFICATION OF A FOOL*
- A fool says in his heart, "There is no God" (Psalm 53:1)
- A fool despises instruction

*DECLARATIONS*
- I will pursue God and righteousness!
- Wisdom, from today, you are my sister!
- Understanding, from today, you are my family member!
- ⁠I will walk far away from foolishness!

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Lord, refine and purify my heart.

Obeying God will not always be comfortable, but it will always be the right path.

There will be times when our desires, emotions, and even our own understanding will try to lead us in a different direction. But true faith is revealed when we choose to trust God above our feelings.

Obedience may require sacrifice today, but it brings peace, growth, and blessings tomorrow. God never asks us to do something to harm us; He always leads us toward the purpose He has prepared for us.

Do not let your heart decide what only God's Word can guide. Stand firm, even when it is difficult. Those who obey the Lord never walk alone.

'Life That Is Shared' — John 1:4

The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.— John 1:4 NLT

So often, people want to sell us some formula, vitamin, exercise plan, marketing strategy, or business opportunity that will enhance our lives. Our email boxes are filled with spam about the newest, latest, and greatest ways to enhance and enrich our lives. The Bible offers one way to find life - not a few ways, just one way. This way to life is not a marketing plan or a product; no, the only real way to life is a person - Jesus, God's living Word who took on human flesh! This life, however, is not something we have to earn or pay someone else to receive. Instead, this life was gladly willing to share everything that he had and has and is. This life gives light. He shares grace and glory for our gain. And the offer? Well, it's not to just a select few, but it's for everyone. So the real question for us today is pretty simple: "Have I found life in Jesus?" If we answer yes, then the second question is, "Am I sharing that life with others?"

Today's Prayer

Father, thank you! You gave me your precious life through Jesus. As I receive the blessing of his light, help me to share that light and life with others who do not know you or your Son. Bless me especially, O Lord, as I try to reach out to ... Forgive me for those times when I have been timid or reluctant to share your grace with others. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
