Purpose is the central theme of manhood. No man was built to be idle, and no destiny was designed to stay hidden forever. It's REVEALED by the Holy Spirit to the man who seeks Him with everything he has.

Stop chasing what's already gone. Stop settling in your confusion. Get before God, receive clarity of purpose, and let your purpose draw what you deserve and who belongs to you.
POINTING OTHERS TO JESUS β€” John 1:15

John testified about [the Word, Jesus] when he shouted to the crowds, "This is the one I was talking about when I said, 'Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.'" β€” John 1:15 NLT

John the Baptizer was courageous. John was passionate, but he realized he was just a "pointer" - someone who pointed people to another far greater than himself. Jesus was in existence long before John appeared on the scene. In fact, Jesus existed before creation. No matter how important others viewed John - and even Jesus testified to John's greatness, [1] John knew God had given him one primary job: Point others to Jesus, the preexistent Word of God! In a world full of people obsessed with getting their fifteen minutes of fame, John is a breath of fresh air. His life challenges each of us to ask an important question: Will I spend my life helping others know of Jesus' greatness rather than having them focus on me?
[1] Matthew 11:11.

Today's Prayer

Father, please help me find and fulfill my role as John did - to point others to Jesus and his greatness and grace. Help me find great delight in doing what you created me to do and in using my influence to help others to see Jesus. In his name. Amen.

β€œEvery sexual encounter is a spiritual transaction.”

We live in a world that tries to pass off premarital intimacy as just a casual game, but the spiritual realities carry real consequences. Sexual sin isn't a "youth thing" you grow into. It's a door Satan uses to sow attacks into your future marriage, long after the relationship ends. God’s call for purity isn't to withhold good from us; it's to protect our future.

Beloved, if someone can't respect your "no," they were never worth your "yes." Let them walk. You lose nothing by losing a fornicator, but you can lose everything by keeping one.
*_There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches._*

(Proverbs 13:7)

*Sunday Prayer :*

Give me discernment to distinguish true riches from worldly wealth.

Help me understand that earthly wealth is temporary, while true riches are found in a relationship with You.

Father, I know that peace and faith cannot be bought, for they come only from You.

Remind me that these true riches are available every day as I walk with You.

Help me to seek Your kingdom and righteousness above all worldly possessions.
In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

🌼*Topic*: Where Does My Help Come From?
*Scripture*: Psalm 121:1
β€œI lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?”

There are moments when life feels overwhelming and we don't know where to turn. The Psalmist looks beyond his circumstances and asks an important question: Where does my help come from?
Our help is not ultimately found in people, money, our own strength, or our circumstances. When we lift our eyes to God, we are reminded that He is our source, our strength, and our refuge. Whatever you're facing today, look up, your help comes from the Lord.

*Prayer*:
Father, remind me that You are my source and that I never have to face my problems alone. Amen.

I will not be overwhelmed by what I face, because my eyes are fixed on the One who is greater than every situation.

"Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory." β€” Psalms 73:24

The Psalmist felt his need of divine guidance. He had just been discovering the foolishness of his own heart, and lest he should be constantly led astray by it, he resolved that God's counsel should henceforth guide him. A sense of our own folly is a great step towards being wise, when it leads us to rely on the wisdom of the Lord. The blind man leans on his friend's arm and reaches home in safety, and so would we give ourselves up implicitly to divine guidance, nothing doubting; assured that though we cannot see, it is always safe to trust the all-seeing God. "Thou shalt," is a blessed expression of confidence. He was sure that the Lord would not decline the condescending task. There is a word for thee, O believer; rest thou in it. Be assured that thy God will be thy counsellor and friend; he shall guide thee; he will direct all thy ways. In his written Word thou hast this assurance in part fulfilled, for holy Scripture is his counsel to thee. Happy are we to have God's Word always to guide us! What were the mariner without his compass? And what were the Christian without the Bible? This is the unerring chart, the map in which every shoal is described, and all the channels from the quicksands of destruction to the haven of salvation mapped and marked by one who knows all the way. Blessed be thou, O God, that we may trust thee to guide us now, and guide us even to the end! After this guidance through life, the Psalmist anticipates a divine reception at last-"and afterward receive me to glory." What a thought for thee, believer! God himself will receive thee to glory-thee! Wandering, erring, straying, yet he will bring thee safe at last to glory! This is thy portion; live on it this day, and if perplexities should surround thee, go in the strength of this text straight to the throne.
