Amir Mohebbifar, 27, approached a 19 year old woman near the Anzac Bridge in Pyrmont, greeting her before pushing her into nearby bushes and violently sexually attacking her.
During sentencing, his defence claimed he had struggled to adjust to Australian culture, specifically mentioning women's "revealing garments”
He was sentenced in the NSW District Court to a six year jail term with a non parole period of three years and nine months.

#BREAKING Kouadio Benjamin Saint Kouakou, 34, an African refugee, has been jailed for just four years for raping his ex girlfriend’s 13 year old niece at her home in Adelaide and filming the horrific attack.
Kouakou, turned up at his victim's home in March last year and told her younger brother and cousin to go to bed, and then forced himself onto the young girl on a couch in the garage.
He did not wear a condom, and a neighbour reported hearing screaming coming from inside the house that
"sounded like a child in pain"
After the rape, the girl called her mother and told her what had happened and Kouakou screamed at the child and demanded to know why “she had done that” and told her to “wipe her genitals”
Kouakou was arrested the next day and two videos of the rape were found on his phone.
Judge Geraldine Davidson noted that Kouakou arrived in Western Australia from the Ivory Coast on a refugee visa at the age of 19.
She also made excuses for Kouakou and reported him being “quite lonely" in custody as he is cut off from his mother and siblings in Africa and now fears he may not be able to sponsor them to come to Australia.
Albanese Government psychologist Dr Lorraine Lim found he did "not meet the diagnostic criteria of a paedophilic disorder" despite raping a 13 year old child multiple times while filming and then distributing the child abuse material.

#BREAKING A newly arrived Bangladeshi national has gone on a murderous rampage in Sydneys western suburbs last night, brutally murdering his 46 year old wife and his two sons, aged just 12 and 5.
It’s understood the perpetrator then calmly contacted the Police after the murders to alert them to the fact.
Police found the bodies of his two sons, and his 46 year old wife inside, shortly afterwards.

#BREAKING The two brothers of Bondi Beach terror attack hero, Ahmed Al Ahmed, allegedly flew to Sydney from the Middle East after they became aware that he had struck a $2.6 million dollar GoFundMe windfall.

When news of this filtered out to his brothers, Sameh Al Ahmed and Hozaifa Al Ahmed, who were both living in the Middle East at the time, they both immediately booked flights to Australia.
They then reached Sydney and both immediately began living with Mr Al Ahmed and their father at a home in Bankstown.
Police allege the relationship between the siblings quickly broke down when they started demanding a slice of the money, causing Mr Al Ahmed to leave the family home and move to another address in Sans Souci.
It is alleged Hosaifa phoned his brother on May 7 and said “if you’re a man, you would come here. I will put your head under my boot, break your other arm and smash your face. We will only leave if you give us $100,000 each”
“This situation is going to get worse for you,” Hosaifa allegedly said.
“If you want peace of mind and to be safe, you will give us $100,000 each,” Sameh allegedly replied.
Both men were charged with using a carriage service to harass or offend and were granted conditional bail despite being on tourists visas.
The duo fronted Bankstown Local Court for the first time on Wednesday, when they entered pleas of not guilty.
Tony Burke did not comment on whether their visas would be cancelled.
