Berlin just changed their covid rules. Until the end of August all events with more than 1000 people are banned. That was done in order to prevent a second demonstration. Berlin does not see a huge infection rate, so there is no medical reason for this measure. It is just political.

I was a little too careless. I now read, that political demonstrations are excluded from the rule to limit events to 1000 people in Berlin. Let's see if the demonstration in the end of August will be authorized by the city...

‼️‼️Das ist falsch‼️‼️Bitte nehmt diese Meldungen wieder raus!!!! Sie ist irreführend. Die Begrenzung auf 1.000 Menschen gilt nur für Veranstaltungen und NICHT für Versammlungen. Artikel 8 des deutschen Grundgesetzes (GG) verbürgt die Versammlungsfreiheit - und - Artikel 26
Alle Männer und Frauen haben das Recht, sich zu gesetzlich zulässigen Zwecken friedlich und unbewaffnet zu versammeln. Bitte richtig lesen. Durch derartige Meldungen werden möglicherweise viele Menschen nicht nach Berlin kommen, weil sie glauben, es würde nicht stattfinden. Der 29.08.2020 wird definitiv stattfinden!!!
