🔴 Russia Destroys 10 ATACMS Missiles Over Crimea – Moscow

The Russian defence ministry has revealed its air forces downed 10 long-range missiles - known as ATACMS - that Ukraine’s military launched overnight at Crimea.

The governor of the Crimean port of Sevastopol said on Telegram that missile debris fell onto a residential area but according to preliminary data, no one was injured.

📉 Boeing Could Face Criminal Prosecution over 737 MAX Crashes – US State Dept

Boeing violated a deferred prosecution agreement that allowed the aerospace company to evade criminal charges after two crashes of its 737 MAX jet that killed everyone on board, the US State Dept has determined.

Prosecutors delivered the news to a federal judge after hosting a closed-door meeting with the families of the victims of the 2018 and 2019 crashes.

The Justice Dept could prosecute the company “for any federal criminal violation of which the US has knowledge,” including a fraud charge that Boeing hoped to sidestep with its $2.5bn settlement with the US govt.

Beijing had a full understanding of the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis and its global geopolitical meaning, Putin said in an interview published Wednesday by Xinhua News Agency.

Russia remained open to dialogue and talks to solve the more than two-year-old conflict, Putin added.

Principles set down by Xi in talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, were "realistic and constructive steps" that "develop the idea of the necessity to overcome the cold war mentality,” the Russian president noted.
