The IDF began expanding its incursion into Rafah, seizing more of the border area with Egypt, known as the Philadelphi Corridor.
The move means that the Israeli army is moving closer to isolating the strip from contact with Egypt and eventually the entire world.

Israelโs army chiefs have deployed an additional brigade to the Rafah offensive โ bringing the number to 3 - and ordered tanks to move into the centre of the city in the south of the Gaza Strip.
The IDF claimed that its soldiers had engaged and killed โmanyโ Hamas militants along the border area to Egypt over the past day.

More than 50 cases of the waterborne leptospirosis disease have been confirmed in the wake of Brazilโs devastating floods, leaving at least four dead with warnings of additional fatalities to come.
The southern state of Rio Grande do Sul was hit by weeks of unprecedented floods in May after being inundated with torrential rains. More than 2.3mn people have been affected, 165 killed, and at least 581k displaced.

There is Article 111 of the Ukrainian Constitution, which says that powers are transferred to the Speaker of parliament, especially since under martial law, the powers of Parliament are extended - Putin educates.

Germany and the US have reportedly been vocal in their warnings against offering Kiev a firm timeframe, during preparations for the two-day gathering in Washington marking NATOโs 75th anniversary.
โTheyโre very sceptical about bringing Ukraine any further along the path to full NATO membership this year,โ a source close to the Biden admin informed The Telegraph.
The decision is expected to rile Zelensky - who has already been warned by counterparts not to demand the โimpossibleโ from the alliance.

Several balloons crossed the border and fell in various locations across South Korea from Tuesday night to Wednesday, scattering waste and manure on the ground, according to Seoulโs military.
Authorities warned residents not to touch the objects and report to the military or police if they discover them.
