Trump advisers have told allied countries the reduced intel sharing would be part of a broader plan to scale back US support with NATO, according to three European officials.
Asked for comment, a spox from the Trump campaign did not respond directly, instead referring to a statement on TruthSocial that the former president “will restore peace and rebuild American strength and deterrence on the world stage.”
Trump repeatedly questioned and sought to undercut the alliance during his first term in office.

NATO has once again confirmed its nature, as a military alliance created to maintain confrontation, and now it is fully involved in the conflict around Ukraine, the Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated today.

The NATO summit in Washington, DC, is coming to a close, with the U.S. and its top allies announcing new plans for air defense for Ukraine, while pledging "irreversible" support for Kiev, and calling China "a decisive enabler" of Russia.
Sarah Bils, Co-Founder of @DDGeopolitics, noted that while NATO still pretends Ukraine has a future in the alliance, even the New York Times is admitting that Kiev's aims to force its borders back to where they were in the 1990's are "all but impossible," and the West is just setting Ukraine up to become an endless vassal state.

The missiles can only be strategically launched at targets in Crimea and territory taken by Russia since the war began, the British govt confirmed.
UK officials fear that allowing the missiles into Russian territory could escalate tensions and bring Britain into the conflict.
Zelensky had begged NATO nations to lift restrictions on weapons at the summit in Washington.
