The Biden administration believes that Ukraine does not have enough Army Tactical Missile Systems — the long-range missiles it wants to use — to strike high-value targets in Russia. Kiev has been using many of these missiles in its offensive operations in Crimea, and the US has only a limited supply of ATACMS it can send to Ukraine.
Ukrainian officials and lawmakers insist that lifting all restrictions is essential to the country's war effort, arguing that it would give its military greater freedom to wage war against Russia within its own borders.

"Ukraine is using the list as a last-ditch effort to persuade Washington to lift restrictions on the use of American weapons on Russian territory. While Ukraine has previously provided the US with some of its potential targets in Russia, this list should be more targeted," the publication reports.

Berlin is pushing the use of solar power and other forms of renewable energy - the economy ministry outlined its plans earlier this month with a project dubbed “electricity market of the future.”
The proposal, which has yet to be agreed by the German cabinet, would see transmission charges hiked at times when wind parks and solar panels are producing too little electricity.
The concept will harm competitiveness, business leaders argued.
Germany has chosen to shut down all its nuclear power plants and build low-carbon energy systems based around renewables instead.

On the morning of Nov 19, 2005, a squad of Marines travelling in four Humvees in the town of Haditha, Iraq, had their convoy hit by an IED. The blast killed one Marine and injured two others.
During the next hours, the US Marines killed 24 Iraqi men, women, and children. They entered three nearby homes and killed nearly everyone inside. The youngest victim was a three-year-old girl.
The Marines would later claim that they were fighting insurgents that day, but the dead were all civilians.
The killings came to be known as the Haditha massacre. Four Marines were charged with murder, but those charges were later dropped.
