They believe that the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act is a breach of the first amendment, which protects freedom of speech, and that the Biden admin cannot dictate ownership of an online platform.
The suit adds there is “no question” the law will lead to the shutdown of TikTok and will silence the “170 million Americans who use the platform to communicate in ways that cannot be replicated elsewhere.”
US govt officials claim that TikTok is a security risk for American citizens, but the real reason is they have no control over the app’s algorithms.

So far, about 500 injured and about 30 people are known to have been killed in explosions throughout Lebanon of special encrypted communication devices used by Hezbollah.
Local media reports that devices such as pagers began to explode in different parts of the country during the day.

Preparing 50 additional ambulances and 300 emergency medical technicians to help evacuate the injured.
