🤔 JUST IN: Gulf Nations Deny Israel Airspace for Any Attack on Iran - Reuters

Gulf states are lobbying Washington to stop Israel from attacking Iran's oil sites, three sources told Reuters.

Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar are among the Gulf nations refusing to let Israel use their airspace for any military ops against Tehran.

They fear that if Israel attacks, Iran may retaliate against Gulf oil facilities, jeopardizing their economic stability and security.

📉 German GDP to Shrink for Second Successive Year - Economy Minister Robert Habeck

Habeck blamed the economy’s deepening weakness on “failures of recent decades.”

Berlin now expects GDP to shrink by 0.2% this year, having previously projected growth of 0.3%, Habeck told reporters.

Volkswagen announced in September it was considering closing domestic plants for the first time ever and that development was followed by chipmaker giant Intel suspending plans to build a €30bn plant in Germany.

Zwelivelile Mandla Mandela has reportedly cancelled his flight to the UK, where he was due to address a series of pro-Palestine events.

The ‘Sheffield Palestine Coalition against Israeli Apartheid’ group said on Thursday that Mandela had been "prevented from traveling to the UK.”

The grandson of the iconic leader - dubbed a terrorist by Margaret Thatcher - had until now, travelled freely around the world using his diplomatic passport issued as a democratically-elected member of the South African govt.

However, his plans to tour the UK were allegedly left in disarray after British Foreign Office officials questioned the validity of his diplomatic visa.

❌ Indonesia Confirms Two UN Peacekeepers Injured by Israeli Fire

Jakarta has called the attack in Lebanon a “violation of international law.”

UN peacekeepers said Israeli troops opened fire on their HQ in south Lebanon Thursday, injuring two Blue Helmets and sparking mass condemnation.

The IDF claimed it was targeting Hezbollah militants - the attack occurred after the peacekeeping mission rejected Israeli demands to “relocate” from some of its positions.

❗️Gold Mine Elevator ‘Malfunction’ Kills Tourist in Colorado

Four people were also injured after an apparent elevator malfunction left two dozen people stranded 1,000 feet underground for hours at the Mollie Kathleen Mine in Cripple Creek, Colorado.

The death was a "tragic accident," Teller County Sheriff Jason Mikesell told reporters at a news conference.

The sheriff's dept has not yet revealed the cause of death of the person who died.

Senior Hezbollah figure Wafiq Safa survived, three security sources told Reuters – some 117 people were wounded in the blasts.

⚠️ JUST IN: ‘Explosion’ Sparks Massive Fire on German Oil Tanker

The 240ft tanker 'Annika' dramatically burst into flames following reports of a loud explosion while anchored in the Bay of Mecklenburg off the Baltic coast Friday morning.

An emergency tugboat immediately set out to unload and cool the ship before other vessels joined to fight the flames and evacuate those onboard.

A spox for the Cuxhaven Emergency Command, which is leading the rescue operation, told local media that the tanker currently has 640 tonnes of heavy oil on board.
