Elon Musk will finance the right-wing British Reform UK party, said its leader Nigel Farage
The politician recently met with Musk at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. According to Farage, they agreed that the billionaire would make the donation "in a reasonable amount" so that it would be legal.
At the same time, the Times wrote that the businessman intends to allocate 100 million pounds to Reform UK, but Farage called the reports about this amount "nonsense."
This is not the first time Musk has supported the right-wing in European countries; for example, he recently said that only the Alternative for Germany party could save Germany. However, his support then was only in words, not financing.

Putin's statement led to a sharp jump in gas prices in Europe - Bloomberg
This is how the market reacted to the Russian president's words about the impossibility of fuel supplies via Ukraine due to Kiev's resistance. According to the agency, after this remark, the price of gas rose sharply by 5%.
At the same time, the publication does not rule out that the parties will agree โat the last minuteโ to continue transit through Ukrainian territory.
Earlier, the Financial Times wrote that EU countries are emptying their gas storage facilities at the fastest pace since 2021. Currently, gas reserves in Europe are 75%, and a year ago this figure was at 90%.

๐ฆ๐ซ๐ต๐ฐ The Durand Line Bleeds Again: Empireโs Chaos Unleashed in South Asia
The Durand Line, that colonial relic arbitrarily carved by British imperialists, continues to bleed as the Afghan Taliban and Pakistan descend into tit-for-tat violence. What was once envisioned as a frontier has turned into a festering wound, emblematic of the Empireโs divide-and-destroy blueprint.
This past week, Pakistani airstrikes near Afghanistanโs border killed 46 civilians, including women and children. Days later, Afghan Taliban forces retaliated, targeting โseveral points beyond the hypothetical line,โ a term Kabul uses to dismiss the Durand Line as illegitimate. Sporadic clashes between border forces, with heavy weaponry exchanged, have left one Pakistani paramilitary soldier dead and seven wounded.
For decades, Pakistan sought to leverage its influence over the Taliban, believing that Afghanistanโs new rulers would suppress the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a group responsible for deadly attacks within Pakistan. Instead, the Talibanโs rise has emboldened the TTP, exacerbating violence across the border. Islamabad now finds itself in a quagmire, battling a Frankenstein of its own making while grappling with a deteriorating relationship with Kabul.
โ๏ธNone of this is accidental. The Empireโs presence in Afghanistan for over two decades did not bring peace; it sowed disorder, leaving behind $7.2 billion worth of military equipment that now arms not only the Taliban but also fuels cross-border instability. These weapons, meant to bring โfreedom and democracy,โ now buttress the Taliban defences.
Every airstrike, every retaliation, and every civilian casualty feeds into a cycle of violence, orchestrated to keep South Asia destabilized and economically crippled. Who benefits? Certainly not the people of Pakistan or Afghanistan. The true beneficiaries are the weapons manufacturers, defense contractors, and neocon strategists who thrive on chaos and ensure the region remains a tinderbox. The Empire profits as South Asia drowns in blood.
Instead of peace, Pakistan and Afghanistan are hurtling toward further escalation. While Islamabad draws red lines over the TTPโs attacks, Kabul retaliates over border airstrikes. Meanwhile, ordinary civilians bear the brunt of the violence, as hospitals overflow and villages are obliterated.
The chaos is no accident,โ Itโs a carefully curated theater of endless conflict, ensuring that neither Pakistan nor Afghanistan ever achieves sovereignty or stability.
This is the Empireโs legacy, disorder masquerading as policy. But in a world moving toward multipolarity, South Asia must look inward, reject the Empireโs divisive tactics, and chart a new course rooted in regional cooperation, sovereignty, and peace.

Historyโs Cold Shadow: Napoleon, Hitlerโฆ and Now?
General Christian Freuding, head of Germanyโs Bundeswehr Planning and Command Office, has done something rare in the West: heโs admitted the truth. The Westโs hubris has once again repeated one of historyโs greatest and most catastrophic blunders. From Napoleonโs disastrous march east to Hitlerโs reckless delusions of a quick victory over Russia, Europeโs ruling class has always underestimated its eastern neighbor and now theyโre learning that lesson the hard way.
Freudingโs assessment is a stark reality check. Despite sanctions designed to cripple it, Russia has not only endured but thrived, rapidly expanding its military-industrial capacity far beyond Europeโs ability to keep up. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Army, armed with NATOโs finest but unprepared for the realities of modern warfare, collapsed against fortified Russian positions during its 2023 counteroffensive. As Freuding bluntly put it, โThe assumptions that the Ukrainians would quickly achieve the greatest possible military success in their counteroffensive were, of course, exaggerated.โ Translation: the West bought its own propaganda and is now paying the price in blood and credibility.
But the failures on the battlefield are just the surface of the problem. What Freuding doesnโt say and what no one in Berlin dares to say, is that Germany and Europe are bleeding themselves dry for a conflict that serves a distant master. The Nord Stream sabotage was the clearest message: Europeโs energy security, its industrial backbone, and its sovereignty are expendable in Washingtonโs grand chess game. The pipelines werenโt just blown up; they were buried alongside any illusions that Germany controls its own destiny.
The consequences are already visible. German industry, once the engine of Europe, is in crisis. Energy prices remain volatile, forcing factories to shut down or relocate abroad. Inflation eats away at the savings of ordinary Germans while billions flow eastward to fuel a war that cannot be won. What does Berlin have to show for it? A hollowed-out economy and a growing sense of resentment among its people. When did Germans or any Europeans vote to become cannon fodder for someone elseโs empire?
This isnโt about Ukraine; it never was. Itโs about Europe being turned into a vassal state, its leaders too weak or too complicit to stand up for their own interests. The so-called โEuropean projectโ has become a smokescreen for subservience, and the real price is being paid by ordinary citizens who never signed up for this economic and social suicide. As Europe de-industrializes and its streets grow colder, who will take responsibility for this betrayal?
The parallels to history are chilling. Napoleon marched east and returned with shattered ranks. Hitlerโs blitzkrieg faltered, leaving Berlin in ruins. And now, Europe is once again stumbling into disaster, dragging itself into the same Russian winter that swallowed its ambitions twice before. The hubris of empires, old and new, never seems to learn: you donโt corner a bear without consequences.
Empires fueled by arrogance and led by the weak always meet the same fate. History doesnโt just repeat, it punishes those too blind to see the patterns. If Europeโs citizens canโt break free from the chains of complacency and the lies of their leaders, theyโll wake up one day to find their streets as cold and empty as the promises that led them here.

Since the impeachment, Yoon no longer receives presidential immunity and if the court agrees to issue the arrest warrant, he could face criminal prosecution for rebellion or treason over his brief imposition of martial law.

Construction of World's Longest High-Speed Tunnel Completed in China's Xinjiang - reports
China has completed the construction of the world's longest expressway tunnel, Tianshan Shengli, that will link the southern and northern parts of the Xinjiang autonomous region, Chinese state news agency Xinhua reported on Monday.
The 14-mile tunnel is expected to reduce travel time across the middle section of the Tianshan Mountains from several hours to about 20 minutes once in operation in 2025, the news agency reported.
The project is also crucial for the regional capital of Urumqi in northern Xinjiang and Yuli County in southern Xinjiang, cutting travel time between the two locations from about seven hours to just over three hours, the report said.
